Killswitch is now KinSwitch
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Killswitch will be renamed KinSwitch. Same company, same account, same notes, files, and people.
Why the name changed
KinSwitch is a clearer name for what the product does. "Kin" points at the person on the other end of the handoff. The product and the company behind it haven't changed.
What stays the same
- Same company: Elixir Mentor LLC
- Same account: sign in with the same email and password
- Same data: notes, files, switches, beneficiaries, check-in schedule, and settings carry over
- Same links: killswitch.app links will keep working and redirect to kinswitch.app
- Billing and plans are unchanged
What changes
- The name you see in the app and on the site: KinSwitch
- The website: https://kinswitch.app
- Some emails and text messages may still say Killswitch for a while. They're still from us.
- Card statements on paid plans will show KinSwitch for charges starting Wednesday, October 14
Safety

FAQ
Do I need a new account?
No. Your existing account is your KinSwitch account.
Do my switches and beneficiaries change?
No. Switches, check-in schedules, notes, files, and beneficiaries stay as they are.
Will old email links still work?
Yes. Password reset, check-in, unsubscribe, and beneficiary links from older Killswitch emails keep working, and killswitch.app URLs redirect to the same path on kinswitch.app.
Who do I contact?
Email hello@killswitch.app .
Is this still the same product?
Yes. Write down what only you know. If you stop checking in, KinSwitch sends it to the person who needs it.
